Celebrate higher education by participating in the

OHIO PTA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Since its establishment in 1947, this PTA program in its 79th year has assisted thousands of youth in realizing their dreams. The awards are based on the student’s scholarship achievement, school and community involvement, leadership qualifications, and an essay.

The Scholarship brochure provides more information. The applicant must be a high school senior who attends an Ohio public high school in a school district with one or more PTA units that are in good standing with the Ohio PTA. Recipients are permitted to receive scholarships from other sources.

Electronic applications must be submitted by March 1st, and paper applications must be postmarked by March 1st and addressed to the Ohio PTA office. Faxed applications will NOT be accepted. PLEASE, one application per student.

• School transcript(UNOFFICIAL COPIES ARE ACCEPTABLE.)

The screening and selection process is the responsibility of the Ohio PTA Memorial Scholarship Committee.

Information about the 2026-27 scholarship applications will be mailed to high schools with at least one PTA in their district beginning in February 2027. Guidance counselors should watch for this. These scholarships are accessible only on this website.
